McDowell Mountain Music Festival announces killer lineup for March 2015 fest

Prepare to get your pants blown off, kids. This is a lineup you won’t find anywhere else locally ever again.

McDowell Mountain Music Festival has grown from a humble local show into a massive festival to be reckoned with, as evidenced by yesterday’s 2015 festival’s lineup announcement.

Widespread Panic, Passion Pit, Thievery Corporation, Phantogram, Portugal. The Man, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Beats Antique, Trampled by Turtles, StrFkr, Robert Delong, and Break Science will round out the three-day festival held at Margaret T. Hance Park from Friday, March 27 through Sunday, March 29. Three-day passes ($120) and individual day tickets ($45) can be purchased at

MMMF is a 100 percent non-profit festival, with proceeds benefitting Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation and UMOM New Day Center.

“This festival is a party for the people. It’s a community effort, engaging music enthusiasts to come out to enjoy an eclectic mix of talents and also to support notable charities in the Valley,” says John Largay, President of Wespac Construction, the company that has produced the festival since 2004, in a press release.

It’s great to know that some of our favorite artists are down to party for two awesome charities. Now, is it March yet?
