Phoenix Design Week, The world would be a tasteless place without the spectacular spatial skills of designers. If you get geeky about font and the color wheel, this is a gathering for the likeminded. Phoenix Design Week will feature internationally appreciated keynotes speakers, such as Eddie Opara and Rich Roat, who respectively have worked on permanent collections at MoMA and co-founded House Industries. Damien Echols, If you had spent almost half of your life on death row, you’d probably have enough to fill a book — or two, in Damien Echols’ case. Over the last 18 years, Echols and the two men he was charged with for murder three boys have lived on death row. Artists such as Pearl Jam and Henry Rollins have famously helped fund his defense and his story has been told via various mediums, including a three-part PBS documentary.
