Behind the Masks: Get to Know These Handsome Devils Off The Field

0

As we’re getting back into the swing of things with classes, roommates and parties, the ASU football team is busy preparing for their season. Led by quarterback Mike Bercovici and wide receiver D.J. Foster, this team is looking forward to an exciting and hopeful season ahead. Commentators across the country all agree that the Sun Devils are not to be left out of the Championship discussion this year.

An eventful 2014 season left the team with a 10-3 record, which is extremely impressive due to the injury of the first string QB.

Looking forward to this year, the rankings are definitely in their favor. Although preseason rankings should be taken with a grain of salt since they quickly change once the games get rolling, ESPN currently ranks ASU at 15 and UofA at 22, which means that the Duel in the Desert will be even more important this year. Although the Sun Devils are ranked very high, their PAC 12 division contains five other teams in the top 25, so they’ll need more than heart to get them through the season.

Passionate and determined, Bercovici and head coach Todd Graham are more than prepared to lead the Sun Devils and continue breaking rocks, one “W” at a time. The team’s new partnership with Adidas and their sleek new uniforms add even more hype to the upcoming year. Look for their intense and intimidating “Desert Ice” kits when they play Texas A&M in Houston on September 5.

Now that you know what they’re getting themselves into, get to know the players behind the face masks and off the gridiron!
