Author Profile
Ed Baker - Editor
Once upon a time Ed Baker once covered issues like global oil production, the burgeoning electricity crisis, land policies of the US Interior Department and the political happenings of the Arizona Governor’s Office for Tribune Newspapers.
Now he helps the creative team at College Times with such cutting edge projects as turning rap lyrics into sex advice and deciding the best beer to drink if your goal is to lose 10 pounds in two months. Some would argue it’s a step back, Ed would argue it’s a step forward. Primarily because the beer companies keep shipping him beer for free – something that never happened at The Tribune.
In his free time, Ed fancies himself as something of an athlete, having completed numerous marathons, including New York, San Diego and Phoenix. He’s also prepping to complete his first Ironman.
In his spare time, Ed scours the internet for buzz words so, instead of being imaginative, he can write his columns and blogs about those things being searched for most frequently, thus assuring higher internet traffic and, more revenue, which, as anybody knows, is the only thing the media cares about these days anyway.
