Every girl has experienced issues and posed questions about everything from her beauty and fashion sense to cooking and caretaking. Unfortunately, many women are too embarrassed or unaware of where to seek feminine assistance. Well, your prayers have been answered, ladies, because "The Sorority Secrets" blog offers a plethora of advice and countless life tips and tricks.

Created by three sorority alumnae, Sakura Considine, Ali Matthews and Karen Okonkwo, the lifestyle site caters to all women and provides guidance on everything from beauty, fashion, recipes, home decor advice and simple every day tips told by chic sorority women.

"Every type of girl can find something on the site to relate to, which makes our site so universal," Considine says. "We go from talking about our favorite shade of pink lipstick to how you can bake the perfect appetizer for your next house party."

"The Sorority Secrets" site not only provides useful and unique content but strives to connect and unite girls for the shared purpose of bettering their lives and encouraging the expression of beauty and success.

"The topics really are relatable. Not to mention, not all secrets are from us," Considine says. "We have created a unique experience on our site where our readers can share their personal secret, and their secret can potentially be featured on our site."

The inspiration for the blog started with Revlon lip gloss. After a sorority sister asked Considine where she got her lip gloss, the three sisters began to recognize how influential sorority women are. They created a site that would allow all women, not just those in a sorority, an outlet to gain insight on various topics, Okonkwo says.

"The content was actually the easiest part of our whole vision because the content is just our interests put down on paper," Matthews says. "Every month we come together and discuss all the things we love and how we can share that with our readers."

"Basically our best-kept secrets," Okonkwo adds.

These are by no means your average sorority girls. All three leading ladies graduated from Arizona State University and aside from providing attention-grabbing content for women everywhere, they also thrive in their career fields.

Okonkwo, who graduated with a degree in business communication and a minor in family studies and human development, works in Seattle as an account manager in the biomedical diagnostics field. Matthews graduated with a degree in communication and a minor in family studies and human development but found herself as the owner and garment designer of 224 Apparel & Design. Considine studied Japanese and business communication and currently works for a digital marketing company called Xhibit in Tempe and is also in the process of achieving her real estate license.

To sum it up, every woman, sorority or not, could learn a thing or two from these success-driven trendsetters.

"We always went into it beginning with the end in mind, which was a successful known blog, but we were so happy and humbled by the amazing outpour of support we received prior and during our launch week," Okonkwo says. "We are happy to say that the energy from our readers is still there, which is amazing."

Whether it is styling tips and makeup product advice you seek or unordinary project and craft recommendations, "The Sorority Secrets" will never fail to satisfy your feminine curiosities.

The main goal is to cater to the mass amounts of women eager to hear our take on the various things we love, Considine says.
