Geeks Night Out to bring fun and games, entrepreneurs, tech industry together in Tempe

Allied Paranormal director and investigator Barry Doyle will be leading a ghost tour inside historic Monti’s La Casa Vieja restaurant on Mill Avenue during Geeks Night Out.

Evil Controllers, based in Tempe, will be among the companies represented at Geeks Night Out.

Game Truck, a Tempe-based company, has expanded nationwide.
Doyle collaborates with experts scattered throughout the world and has traveled to various haunted sites throughout Arizona.
A confident professional, Doyle said he tries to be as objective as possible but he has had enough personal experiences to know there are things science alone simply cannot explain.
Having an interest in the paranormal his entire life, the Southwest has proved to be a hot spot for anomalies.
"The mining, the gun fights, the murders, the violence, the fires and hardships in our towns lend themselves to the lure of the Southwest," he said.
The lure of Tempe is the diversity of its living inhabitants; it just so happens that they're geeky.
