How’d you end up at ASU?
I was searching for a highly ranked school in or right near a big city with a large veteran community, warm weather and nice people. ASU had all of these factors and is designated as veteran friendly.
First impression after day one:
How different school is now versus when I last graduated in 1999, especially the technology.
Favorite college memory:
First day of school, when I was nervous if I would fit in, and then meeting so many cool people who are some of my best friends now.
Most challenging part of the college experience:
MBA classes are all about teamwork, so having to rely on other students to be successful as well as being older than everyone else.
What got you through it:
Family, friends and fellow veterans in and around ASU. Also, the hard work, motivation and discipline I learned from when I was in the army.
Advice you wish you had as a freshman:
Make sure to take some time off from studying and working to enjoy life.
Post-grad plans:
Leverage my MBA into a successful career in finance.
