Jugheads is a dark little hole in the wall with a fresh personality and funky feel-good vibe.
Whether you like to rock out to local punk bands, enjoy drunken karaoke or simply have a drink in a great "come as you are" atmosphere, Jugheads will leave you satisfied and coming back for more.
This is a great place for night owls. The doors open at 3 p.m. and close at 2 a.m., but that's plenty of time to enjoy daily drink specials, which include $2 Mike's Hard Lemonade, Bud Light cans and Pabst Blue Ribbons.
Sing until you've lost your voice (or until everyone's lost their patience) at Monday night karaoke. If you're lucky, you can catch the bar staff singing their favorites while mixing drinks, giving change and taking drink orders without missing a single note.
"I think anybody can actually come in here," says daytime bartender Becky C. It's mainly an older crowd in the daytime, but as the sun goes down the young crowd takes over, she says. Add that to the convenient location and it's just an all-around great time for everyone.
Although Jugheads doesn't have a kitchen they do keep plenty of chips and peanuts on hand to quench those late night munchies.
So if it's a fun unpretentious night that you seek, look no farther; Jugheads is all you need.
