Off the beaten path and deep in the downtown Scottsdale art district hides the hard-to-find Native American and Sonoran influenced Old Town Tortilla Factory.

Charming and lovely, the restaurant is built in a 75-year-old adobe home. The patio is by far the best place to sit, sip and socialize whether you’re a party of two or a large group.  Under a canopy of pecan trees decorated with sparkling lights surrounding a soothing fountain, there is no doubt you will find yourself somewhat bewitched.

A separate gazebo bar, stocked with about 100 premium tequilas, can be found on the edge of the patio but not too far from reach.

If you go, be sure to try the popular Treasure Margarita or the famous House Mrs. Sames Original Margarita, a delicious combination of fresh citrus juice and Silver Triple Sec – this drink is a bargain at $8. If you feel like going all out order the Millioinaire – made with Jose Cuervo, Reserva, 150-year-old Gran Marnier and fresh citrus juice. At $19 this drink will definitely do its price and name justice.

Old Town Tortilla Factory, 6910 E. Main Street, Scottsdale, 480.945.4567, Sunday through Thursay, 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
