Madoff's wife says she feels 'betrayed and confused'

MELVILLE, N.Y. - In her first public comments since her husband's arrest in December in a massive Ponzi scheme, Ruth Madoff seemed to seek solidarity with victims. "Like everyone else, I feel betrayed and confused," said the statement, released Monday after Bernard Madoff was sentenced to 150 years in prison.
