Top Ten TV Series DVDs to Watch This Summer

Before I started writing for College Times this summer I had about four weeks to completely relax and do absolutely nothing. I forgot just how boring having nothing to do is. I decided the best way to relax was to watch an entire TV series that I had never seen before.
10. "Sex and the City". I know this is a female show, but that's why I made it number ten. I still firmly believe that men need to watch this show because they might learn something, and a plus side for guys is there is A LOT of sex in every episode. Anyways ladies, this show is extremely addicting and with six seasons and a movie it will cure any dose of boredom.
9. "King of Queens". Kevin James. That's all I have to say about this show. Something might be wrong with you if you don't want to sit around all day and watch Kevin James.
8. "South Park". There are 13 seasons of "South Park" and it's possibly one of the funniest shows on TV. I remember my dad let me watch this show when I was in fourth grade and I haven't stopped since then. This whole show is worth watching for two characters: Mr. Hankey, the Christmas Poo and Towelie, the high towel. I promise you won't be disappointed.
7. "Arrested Development". I don't know why this show ever ended. I got so addicted to the Bluth family. Since not many people watch this show I'll explain the plot a little bit. The Bluth family owns a housing developing company and the father (Jeffrey Tambor) is arrested for fraud and extortion. The rest of the family, which includes a mentally-challenged brother (Tony Hale), a spoiled daughter (Portia de Rossi) and a wannabe magician (Will Arnett), has to try and save the company. It's a fantastic show.
6. "Seinfeld". This is the classic sitcom. I could sit around and watch Kramer every single day. With nine seasons, it will easy give you something to watch for a couple weeks.
5. "House". I don't know why, but Hugh Laurie makes a sexy doctor. You watch one episode of "House" and you can be drawn in forever. There are a couple story lines, but for the most part it's not necessary to watch the House episodes in a row. I love how the show has the hospital drama, but remains a comedy.
4. "Family Guy". I have never met a person that didn't like this show. Brian and Stewie are two of my favorite TV characters. One of the best reasons to watch this show is to play the drinking game that was created for this show. For example, every time Meg is referred to as ugly in some way you have to drink three times.
3." Weeds". I actually finished all four seasons in about a week and a half. I got so into this show that I had to start the new season which aired last Monday. A suburban mom marijuana dealer is a plot that just draws you in. There is so much drama and entertainment in this show that I'm actually warning you that you will have no social life because all you will want to do is finish it.
2. "Entourage". When I found out that this show was about Mark Wahlberg, I actually didn't believe it at first. Then I saw Drama and realized it was supposed to be Donnie Wahlberg and I instantly began to love it. Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven) is one of my all time favorite TV characters of all time. It's entertaining and absolutely hysterical.
1. "Friends". Ten seasons of the best comedy I have ever seen. I have literally fallen in love with every single character on this show. I'm finishing up the last season of this show and I actually cried in some of the episodes (I'm pathetic I know). If I could be any character in a TV series I would be Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow). This series stays funny and great through all 10 seasons and a lot of the time sitcoms go downhill at the very end, but the writing stays strong throughout the seasons.
