Natural toothpaste sucks, but it's way better for you

Abstract:
I have been using natural toothpaste for about a month now, and I would just like to share this with you: It's utterly disgusting.

I purchased two kinds: one from Trader Joe's (their brand) and one from Target (Tom's of Maine brand), but I don't think the brand matters that much, because I am convinced that natural toothpaste in general sucks ass, and I'm about half done with both of the tubes....

I've gotten all natural toothpastes from India....and I found that they sold some internationally.

The first few times it tasted like crap, but then I got use to it. Oddly enough, they used spices to get a minty flavor.

The one that's sold in the US is called Red Darbur Tooth Paste. Their site...it's a little cheesy

As for the other toothpaste...it's called Amrut Tooth paste. My aunt got this through some religious organization (more like a cult...but that's another venture).

Anyway, I'm sure you can find it at any major temple. Swaminarayan Temples...they're all over the world. For the most part.

Unfortunately it tastes so bad because it doesn't have the sugar. The flavoring is just peppermint oil, hence the reason you can tell it's there but you can't taste it. Without any type of sweetener it really doesn't have much of a taste, so all you really do taste is the baking soda haha.
