Women who drink are not to blame for their sexual assaults. The men who attack them are. This article should have read "police have a message for male would-be partiers: don't rape." If you get another person drunk so you can assault them, the blame rests solely with you. This article should have focused on the crime of the man who raped Nichole Ball, not her decision to have a drink.

We stronly encourage all women, especially middle school to college aged women to take a RAD (Rape Aggression Defense) course to understand all the options they have available to them in their personal protection and self-defense awareness strategies.
