Phoenix Fashion Week

The third annual Phoenix Fashion week begins on Monday, November 5 and ends on the Thursday, November 8. It’s jam packed with 30 runway shows, 20 fabulous designers, and the Valley’s own “top 10” boutiques.
Each day features a variety of fashion and design including informative fashion related seminars held at the Art Institute of Phoenix, and the best designers of clothing, furniture and jewelry. And best of all, it all kicks off with an amazing charity event; the Opening Night Gala which features a celebrity fashion show with the proceeds go to the Partners in Malawi, a HIV wellness center in Africa.
I highly recommend getting involved with this week if you’re a student who is interested in the fashion or design industry because between the seminars and the shows, you can learn first hand about how this all works. In addition, during this week, the Art Institute of Phoenix will award one lucky student a $40,000 fashion marketing scholarship as the winner of the “Fashion and Global Humanity” project.
For more information in getting involved with this project or to register to attend these seminars, call Gil Mejia at 602.331.7506.
