Six Two Three brings NYC flavor to Peoria

New York city style in Peoria? Hip L.A duds right here in the Valley? Yes.
ASU graduate, and valley native Daniel Agosta has done just this – brought fresh unique fashions to his new shop Six Two Three clothing. Daniel, now 24, grew up only 5 miles from his new Peoria boutique.
“I found that if you want to shop for something cool you need to go to Scottsdale or Tempe, so I wanted to bring something to this area that we didn’t have.”
The shop which is now only three months old is decked out with old school Nintendo games, vintage televisions and a huge grafitti style mural on the wall.
Daniel told me that while in college he was always into selling clothes via Ebay, as well as finding unusual clothing lines to outfit himself in gear that no one else would have. “After college it was like go work for someone else or follow my dream,” which was bringing his unique style and unordinary clothing lines to the valley.
“Most people who come in here haven’t heard of any of the brands that I carry … I wanted to bring street wear to Arizona,” so he searched the web and ordered one piece in each size of random lines he enjoyed himself. “I figure who doesn’t want to wear something that no one else has?”
Daniel explained that while a lot of people compare Six Two Three clothing to the hip boutiques of Los Angeles that his shop is nothing to be put off by. “People often feel intimidated if they don’t fit the ‘type’ of the boutique … I’m not trying to appeal to only one type of person. You should be able to come in and say that’s the coolest shirt I’ve ever seen, and then look at another and think who would wear that? Because I’m trying to appeal to all sorts of people.”
Daniel’s laid back vibe and rare lines of funky t-shirts and designer jeans is just what the Valley needed. It’s a fun store that carries no pressure of judgment only the opportunity to rock something great that no one else has.
