Cinco de Mayo Scottsdale Block Party, Get your party faces on, because this year’s Cinco de Mayo weekend is going to be one for the books. This is one of the biggest block parties this weekend, filled with lots of iced and blended alcoholic beverages and live music from Rome and special guests Kongos, Seedless, Through the Roots, The Veragroove and Valley Love. Party in Chandler begins at 8 a.m., parties in south Tempe and Mesa begin at 10 a.m. Dos Gringos, 4209 N. Cinco de Mayo Phoenix Festival, Head on down to the 20th annual Cinco de Mayo Phoenix Festival and munch on yummy eats and dance the day away with live DJ music or a performance by Ballet Folklorico and Ozomatli. According to organizers, more than 2 million people in the Valley have celebrated Cinco de Mayo at this festival (estimated attendance this year is 75,000). The festival has also been a platform for giving away $350,000 in scholarships to 150 students. 200 E. Salty Señorita Bash, It is time to let loose and celebrate spring’s most fun holiday – Cinco de Mayo! Party like a real señor or señorita at the Salty Senorita Bash. Cinco de Mayo Festival w/Chihuahua Races, Aside from live music, eats, crafts and vendors, this event will also offer attendees free health screenings and healthy living information. El Mirage Cinco de Mayo Fiesta, Wash down Mexican fare with beer and to-die-for sangria while being entertained by mariachi music.
